G for the Weekend

Yes we had Grant for the weekend as his mom and dad had a wedding to attend. It has been a while since we had him staying overnight with us. All went well even thou he didn't go to sleep until about 10:00 PM a little late for a 3 year old.
To say that we were a little tired would be the understatement of the year but he has been a very good but highly energized lad. It is fun to watch him play with our dogs who just love him to pieces and feeding the horses who are so gentle with him.
A engineer he is destined to be he takes his DVD videos and goes to all the differnt DVD players in the house and turns them on and cruises through the menus like a pro. The Apple TV well that he has had mastered for a long time.
The pool is still to cold to swim in but we went into the hot tub for a little fun. It gets up to a nice cozy temperature quickly and is fun to splash and play in. It also re-acclimates Grant to swimming so that he is ready for the warm summer days. As you can see from the pictures both he and Ricki have fun when the pool is open for activities.
