Fly Like a Eagle

Yes I know it has been a little while since my last post to this blog. I have been so busy with my photography blog that I have let this space go. Anyway today I have a few pictures to share from a recent visit from Saxon.
High flier that he is I'm guessing that you might now have figured out the reason for the title of this post ! Saxon loves the trampoline and is fearless in attempting everything his older brother does.
Of course if one has blown off a lot energy on the trampoline a Popsicle break is necessary. I like black and white for portrait type of photographs, especially when the model has a lot of stuff on his face. I will try to share more real soon.........

Stop Sign

Here is a picture from my Saturday walk where we saw this SUV which had decided to stop on top of the stop sign. No one was hurt but it certainly makes for a interesting photograph.

Of course the other picture occurred in the same area and slowing down for the accident was not anything these riders thought might be prudent. Oh well it makes for some local excitement
I will end with this peaceful garden scene taken later into the walk.

Admiring Looks

Two of our horse friends who were so happy to see Eivor and her bag of treats. These horses were recently moved from their long time homes and very pleased to see we came to visit it them at their new digs.

The tall horse is Crystal and the miniature horse is Snow Ball.

Lots of Pics

I just got through with taking and sorting through over 300 pictures I took at my grandsons birthday party. I thought that I would share this picture of my youngest grandson chewing on the decorations.

No Road Trip

Not this week anyway with the rain and other errands taking up our time. I thought I would take the opportunity to share a few pictures from this week that I took in black and white and then converted to give them a antique look.

You may recognize the horse as Star we regularly stop by to visit and offer him carrots.

Redwoods on Hidden Valley in Woodside, California. The picture has the look of the early 1900's.
